It has been quite a while since I’ve blogged. Mainly, due to needing to get a new website, and I began my author journey last year. I published 3 novellas. The Duchess’s Bodyguard, My Royal Holiday, and Ignited by Destiny. I delved more into establishing myself on social media and learning more about Indie Publishing as I went. This year, I plan to get back into blogging and now that I’ve gotten into a rhythm with writing, I can blog about that writing journey with life and writing updates. My life updates will be titled Drea C’s Life and Writing Updates.
Author Talk – What am I working on?
I have quite a few books I plan to publish this year. The first of which I plan to release is The Queen’s Beta, book 2 in my Truly Faeted Series. The tentative date for that release is the end of April. I hit a snag with my computer and need to buy a new one so a more definitive date will come once I have everything in order.
I also completed a short story for an anthology I’ll be a part of, releasing in June. More information to come on that soon.
Soon, I’ll also be resuming publishing episodes for my Kindle Vella story Our Little Secret Sophomore Year.
Reader Talk – What am I working on/Reading?
This year, I want to put focus on Indie books, so I’m working on a spreadsheet of Indie books to read and review and put in my Amazon Storefront. I also plan to do blog interviews with Indie Authors and video interviews as well. To start, I will be doing blog interviews.
Currently, I’m reading Figure of Speech by Kasha Thompson, Monopolove by Mia Heintzelman, and Paper Doll Lina by Robyn Lucas.
